Welsh Taster Course

Length of Course

8 weeks two hours a week

Content

Welsh is very much a live language and has the advantage that you can practise in live situations. There is also plenty of back up for the learner in a range of media eg. T.V, radio, Internet resources, books, magazines, tapes, videos, day schools as well as socially geared events specifically for learners. Tutor-organisers based in Mold and Llanrwst welcome enquiries and offer support. This course is geared to spoken Welsh. It avoids the grammatical approach and begins from the beginning, assuming no previous knowledge. The course will introduce you to the Welsh language. You will learn

  • To greet others and be able to answer a greeting
  • To enquire about peoples personal details:- name, address, phone number and where they live and work
